Pritam Singh has been a Member of Parliament for Aljunied GRC since 2011, and the Secretary-General of the Workers' Party. He has held roles such as, Assistant Secretary-General and Organising Secretary, amongst others.
Pritam Singh takes pride in speaking up for Singaporeans and ensuring that progressive laws are passed. Alongside his WP colleagues, Pritam plays his part in maintaining checks and balances in Parliament.
Pritam envisions Singapore as a country that is not only economically successful but also one where its people are kind, compassionate, and empathetic. For the Workers' Party, his vision is to see it become a successful political party that advocates for and achieves better outcomes for Singapore and Singaporeans.
Family is a significant part of Pritam's life. He is married and has two daughters. In his free time, he enjoys reading and watching all types of sports, except for breakdancing, which he humorously insists is not a sport and should not be in the Olympics.
An aviation enthusiast, Pritam is also known for his knowledge in various subjects, making him a valuable asset on pub quiz nights.
